For over 25 years at the YMCA she has taught area participants, 6 months-Adult, how to swim and to enjoy the water. Janet has dedicated her life to working with children. Andrew continued his water polo career at Brown University. They continued swimming and played water polo through high school at Lyons Township. "Our older sons started swimming with Western Springs Waves when they were about 7 years old. Locally, he has served on the Western Springs District 101 School Board and has been on several committees at the First Congregational Church of Western Springs. Marty earned his MBA from DePaul University and has been in the investment business for 20+ years. After growing up in Evergreen Park, Marty attended Brother Rice High School and Indiana University as an Evans Scholar. Marty, his wife Mary and three sons (Michael – 22, Andrew – 22, and Martin – 13) are 20 year residents of Western Springs. We will continue to partner with associate school districts, colleges, community agencies, and others to continually enhance student opportunities, improve student preparedness, and provide positive learning environments for all students at Lyons Township High School.Marty is the Founder and President of Max Aquatics Improving academic achievement and promoting student engagement in all LT has to offer remain top District priorities. Decisions will be made to advance success, promote growth, and support social emotional health of all LT students. We understand the impact all of our decisions have on our students, their families, and our community.
